Ordinary labor. Extraordinary participation in God's redemptive work.
A podcast for Christians across Lancaster County exploring daily work as sacred calling.
Featured episodes
FaithWorks Lancaster: Conversations on Calling is a podcast exploring how Christians relate worship to their work. Co-hosted by Eric Brandt and Josh Swartz, the show seeks to recover the conviction that ordinary work, done in response to God's calling, is itself worship and service to neighbor.
Episodes feature guests from across vocations — from shop floors and offices to pulpits and classrooms, in Lancaster County and beyond — sharing how they understand the relationship between faith and work. Together, these conversations form a listening tour: a way to learn from people already living this integration and from people still working through what it asks of them.
Wherever you find yourself on Monday morning, we hope these stories help you see your work as worship and your workplace as a place for faithful presence.

I believe any task or job can be worship, a way to reflect God to creation and to our neighbors. A seminary-trained Lancastrian with a decade in Christian higher ed, I co-founded FaithWorks Lancaster to bring this posture into everyday life.
